How can I reflect on the experience of learning a language? I’ve been learning a language through school for some years but I want to reflect on my experience. However, because it’s in school the language learning isn’t very distilled and its all based on grades etc. I would like some pointers on how I can reflect on language acquisition.

It’s a pretty vague question. How does one reflect on any experience?

What have you gained from it? How do you think your brain has benefited from the experience? Are you more open to difference because of it?
