What is the best way to stop crazy nosebleeds?

I’ve currently got what could be the worlds worst nosebleed. And it’s been going for a good half hour.
I get at least 4 nosebleeds a week, but never this insane. Ahh what should I do?
It stopped I just shoved a tampon up there for ten minutes. Problem solved. *sigh*

And Felix, I did learn tipping your head back the hard way - it’s pretty frightening when you spit up blood.

lmao, i’m awful with nosebleeds, too.

i usually get one like once a month… but after i get one i get one every day of the week, it’s so annoying. D:

To stop nosebleeds you’re supposed to hold the bridge of your nose (which i never do, i hate the feeling of it.) and lean forwards. I usually use cold compresses, they work well and help the blood clot.

But seriously, if the nosebleed lasts more than an hour you should really go to hospital. :S
