How exactly does reverse search cell phone get information and does it really work?

I’m worried about having given my number out a little while ago. I came across a bunch of websites like this and wondered how exactly they get their information or whether it’s only the people who register who are in the database?
Is there anyone who pays for this website who could show me exactly how much they have access to?

no they can’t access it all. the reasons for this is because when you sign a phone contract it is immidately sent to the government. they have control over your pertinent information within your contract. if someone would spend 90 dollars to see a reverse cell lookup they would be wasting a lot of money.
