I am currently not strong enough to do any push ups. When I try to do them I go down but cannot lift myself up. When I go down it isn’t really controlled either. I start to go down and I barely go down at all then my arms give out and I go all the way down. How do I gain the strength to do push ups?

try doing push ups where you’re on your knees, or if you can’t manage them then do them against a wall (standing up)
do them every day, and you’ll get stronger
lift weights everyday try to do pushups do pullups just workout your arms go for runs workout your legs too
_??_
(?_?)
if its too hard for you try girl push ups like on your knee..then work your way up with one normal push u..if you keep practicing you will be able yo do them..
Start with one. Then the next day do two in a row, then three…etc. Just take your time. Eat protein, keep fit in other areas..
Do one pushup, then two, then three…
Or you could lean on a wall and do as many as you can until you physically cannot do them anymore, and then do that on the ground.
just start using weights and curling them then slowly u will gain muscle
0…? what are you, 5?
if so you’re too young to use Y/A…
lift some weight
you can start doing push ups at a different angle (such as on an edge of a sink or wall push ups) until you have the strength to do 1 push up. then slowly increase your stamina an strength by doing more.
hahaha don’t mean to laugh but it’s kind of funny. how old are you also? if you’re young just wait and in time your muscles will develop and grow on their own.
You need core body strength, such as abs to support your arms first off.
And your arms need to be strong to support your weight to muscle ratio.
In simpler terms, you simply need to work on getting more fit.
Start taking regular jogs, if you want the best thing for you.
Start swimming for 30 mins to an hour as much as you can without stopping doing freestyle at a nice even pace.
That is the best thing for you*^ because swimming and wrestling are the only sports that utilize every single muscle in your body.
Highly recommend!
Good luck

Try doing a push-up from your knees, if that’s still too hard, place something like a small box under each hand and try that while on your knees. Then gradually move to the regular push-up position.
Many people cannot do a push up CORRECTLY. I’d say the amount of people who can do them is quite small.
Start by doing wall push ups. Stand up straight and push up against the wall. Slowly kick your feet back more and more. Make sure your hips are in line with your shoulders and your butt is neither too far up or down.
Then lower the angle by going to the Smith Machine. Start with the bar high and move it lower and lower. (Alternate with body weight rows for a real workout!)
Then go to the ground.
listen to lucas the swimming thing is VERY smart for you.
swimming helps u gain muscle and be fit in every part of ur body, same with wrestling, and it also helps with stress and calorie burning.
do swimming jogging buy a jumprope do jumping jacks all those things, then do ur body weight exercises like pushups situps pullups etc.
youll bef it in no time, after ur good at body weight things get a weight set. or a gym membership
What you do is fow every day do try to do some and you will soon gane the strength.
Easy. All you have to do is everyday, work on pushups. So, lets say, since today is thursday, you want to be able to do 1 PERFECT pushup. So, allow yourself a week. I promise, if you work on it everyday for at least 15 minutes while you are watching tv. Just go down into a pushup, let your chest touch the floor, let out 3 deep breaths, and, slooooooooowly push your self back up. Once you can push yourself back up without struggling, on to to the next step. Go down, dont let your chest touch this time, and push your self back up. Once you can do one all the way down and all the way up. Work on doing two of those in a row. If you can get atleast one pushup a week, you should be able to do about 5 perfect ones by thanksgiving. Oh, and once you hit your goal of 10, work on doing 10 REAL pushups. That means getting your nose (or chin) to touch the floor, and come back up. I can do 30 regular pushups in a row right now, and I can do 15 REAL pushups. Hope I helped. GOOD LUCK!!
you need to move up gradually….say everyday you try to do one push up until you are strong enough to do it… then once you can do one move up to 2 and keep moving up at your own pace until 10
its important that you try everyday because once you stop it will be hard to move up again
Masturbate
if you are not strong enough to do regular push ups start by doing girl or wall pushups.
