When i want to write a bibliography using an online resource, there is a spot where im supposed to write the webpage and another that says website. What is the difference between the two? How do i know what to put for either spot?

Can you please give an example of a webpage and a website.

Tks!

    Dear Musicluv,

Think of a book. It has a lot of pages. Each page has unique information that contributes to the entire book. In answer to your question the web-page would be the one page you are referencing and the website would be where it would be coming from. Here’s an example: Let’s say your bibliography is on cats. The website would be http://www.iluvcats.com - this would be your url for the website and let’s say the page you found the information that you want to reference is on Why cats purr? That page could be http://www.iluvcats.com\lifewithyour cat The website is the entire book, your reference page is the web page where you quoted the info that you are using in your bibliography. Hope this helps.

    Good Luck,

    Stevie V
