It’s that time of the year again. I’m doing college applications and 3 of the 7 colleges that I am applying to ask for a personal statement. But I have no clue what to write about. Any suggestions?

I guess you posted this to some another sites also and got the feedback as well. right? :D

here is the points for you. Just findout yourself if it is feasible then:-

    1. How would you describe yourself? Include any relevant biographical information, an analysis of your strengths and weaknesses, interests, values or beliefs. Be honest and specific.

    2. What would you like me to know about your academic performance and experience until now? What changes, if any, do you want to make in your college experience?

    3. Discuss your major extracurricular activities (limit it to two or three). You may include jobs, volunteer work, summer activities, etc. Include what skills are involved, what your involvement says about you, and what you like about these particular activities.

    4. What would you most like to see change about the world you live in? What role can you see yourself playing in trying to improve matters?

    5. Most people have had something happen to them in their lives that has made them grow emotionally. Often adversity, loss of an emotional bond, disciplinary problems, academic difficulties, arguments, ill health, divorce and other of life’s “slings and arrows” have a large influence on how people mature. Discuss something in this vein that applies to you.

    6. Describe an experience, literary work, class, project or idea that you find intellectually exciting and explain why.

    Best of luck.
    regards,
