How does a driving record effect a career in law enforcement?

I have received 2 citations which I totally agree with that is a total of 4 points and recently was falsely cited and fined for failure to dim headlights which I understand is another 2 points. How long will these points remain on my record? Are the offenses permanent? And How will this effect me when I apply for a career in criminal Justice?

If the other two cit’s are as minor as the headlight thing it wont make much difference also if any are over 3 years old it’ll wash out.
um…its permenant buddy. shouldnt (much) affect your career though
Doesn’t, its a Traffic infraction, just shows poor judgment that’s all.
