I went to home depot today and bought a plug and a switch and some wiring the home depot guy recomeneded. I have a projector mounted on my celing and I want to wire a plug up there and have a light switch to turn it on and off. I’m tired of running wires down my wall. Oh and if you also know how to run video wires ( the red white an yellow ones) down throught the wall that would help too.

If your not putting it in place or beside a working power box, this will require tearing up the walls quite a bit to install. If it’s beside an overhead light, wire it directly to the pre-existing wall switch wires. Your video wires will involve extensive rewiring tho…..have you thought about using a singe s-video cable instead of 3 audio/video RCA cables?
as far as getting it into walls that can pretty tough and time consuming. have you ever considered hiding the wires. try this home depot link. the link below in my source will tell you how to wire switch and plug(might have to scroll down a bit on web page to find what your after). hope this helps.
