How durable is the Palm Centro and how long does the battery last?

I will be getting a Palm Centro very soon, but I am wondering how durable it is, basically, should I get a cover/case for it? Also, how long does the battery last? I don’t talk a whole lot on the phone, mostly I’ll probably be texing, probably a lot too. So, any suggestions on accessories I should get? Thanks.

I am have one and its not the greatest phone but its pretty cool. Um if you say you wont talk on the phone only text then it will last you a whole day or two tops but if you talk on the phone for hours like me i suggest you buy and extra charger to take with you
oh and i have dropped mine plently of times it only has a few scratchs but one thing is the phone freezes alot i dont know if thats gonna be a problem
I had second hand unit, and the battery still last me two days. I don’t text a lot though, but with occasional light internet browsing and sometime forgetting to close the internet connection.
It’s durable enough. Unless you want to keep it in mint condition, I don’t think there’s a need for expensive cases.
But if you’ll use internet a lot, then it’s better to look for phone with better internet browser.
