If the molar mass of the compound is 186.5 grams and the empirical formula is C2H7, what is it’s molecular formula?

C2H7 = 24 +7 = 31
186.5/31 = 6
Thus, the molecular formula is C12H42
That’s not possible, so something is wrong with this problem.
