How can I get free wireless internet for my IPOD touch please?

I live in Barrie area,Canada, have an Ipod touch and am trying to get connection to the internet with the wifi.
From some reason can’t get it.

Would appreciate if anyone would tell me how to connect , which are the networks that are available here in this area , names if possible, and how would I get the connection?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

You can get a wireless router(something that you hook up to your computer and then it gives you free wifi). You can get a low end wireless router for as low as 35$ and there fairly easy to set up. If you buy one you’ll have free wifi throughout your house for as long as you want. It does not add to your monthly internet fees at all.

If you really don’t want a wireless router than you can just go to a store or restaurant that offers free wifi. Places like like "Burger King" and "StarBucks" have free wifi that wil give your iPod Touch internet access. A lot of places have free wifi, so go there and test to see if it offers free wifi. However I would really recommend getting a cheap wireless router. Than you’ll have as much wireless internet as you want in you own house.
