How do I buy Victorian or neo-Victorian clothes if I am poor without a job?

I live in a little country town where there’s no job openings and I have no car, no license or permit and I have this fascination with Victorian clothes and such. How do I pursue my dream of buying what I want?

You can try to trade for victorian clothes on kijiji or craigslist.
Why don’t you consign some of your clothes and use the money to buy new clothes?
I’m hooked on kijiji, I’m currently selling old books, old furniture and old jewellery and using the money to buy new stuff!! You would not believe how many people are keen on buying your old crap!!
Shop online. Look for places with free shipping. Search for coupon codes. Look at several different sites to be sure you are getting the best deal.
I bought patterns and material on line and made my own for about 1/5 the cost.
Well, my first thought was ebay, but you have to have a credit card and perhaps you don’t? But if you do and then that would be your best option - unless someone else has an even better one!
If you are a dab hand with a needle and have plenty of old clothes, you could even attempt to make one for yourself.
I used to be the same. I LOVED Victorian clothes. I still do, but have broadened my taste to include other eras.
I do hope you are able to achieve your dream. I wouldn’t mind owning one myself!
I had this in a fortune cookie this week: You know what you want, now get busy and make it happen! You can’t purchase anything without a job, and if your town doesn’t offer any job opportunities, you have to move. You have a dream - you just have to make up your mind and DO it!
