How does that teacher know that what punishment they are about to give out is against the parents approval. Where we have a suing society, how can they ever do a good job?

well my perants taught me the basic princles in which society run by… please and thank you, not miss behavaing and not swearing or been violent etc etc, all kids should be taught this… and if like me they choose to not listen then they should be punished by whome ever is in charge, i think that if perants dont liek it then they should change the skwl the kid goes to, or better yet teach em right so they never do it in the first place. and hey if you cant do the time dont do the crime
i think kids will be kids an no matter how a perant discaplines them sometimes u breaking the rules is worth the punishment anyway.
some how perants manage and most of the time i think for them it comes natrually and i turned out ok
There are standard protocols that teachers and administration follows. A set of rules that we follow and procedures if rules are broken. They are uniform and usually work (since they also involve explusion eventually) and thus parental approval is nullified.
They can’t, their hands are tied behind their backs. We have so many inadequate and stupid parents these days, their children have little hope of growing up as self-disciplined and useful members of society.
They are AWFUL at it believe me, They only believe Geeks, nerds, fat people and (no affence meant) mainly girls when it comes to people reporting stuff.
The teacher should have a discipline plan. If you are the teacher, suggestions are fine and dandy but you need to have them posted and sent home to the parents the first week of school. The parents do not need to approve them. You are the teacher and you instruct the students. You need to stand firm in the way you run your classroom and be assured that it follows the district and school policies.
If your classroom rules and your discipline follow the district/school guidelines…there is not much the parents can do.
If you are a teacher, you need to join a teacher organization like EAU or TEA or what ever your state has.
