I am 18 and still in high school but I am trying to get a job at a restaurant called Lucille’s Barbeque. I have no work experience but I am applying for a job as a host. What are some tips to help make an impression on the interviewer?

It’s doesn’t take a rocket scientist to get a job in a resturant.
There is nothing you need to know upfront or beforehand.
Just be friendly when you go in for interviewing.
Dress nicely and wear clean clothes. Go alone.
DO NOT take your cell phone in with you. You need to give your future boss your full attention - not be texting or answering or looking at your phone.
You’d think that goes without saying but I have seen people show up for interviews with dirty clothes on, their hair messed up, and dragging screaming kids in tote.
