How can you get rid of a stomach ulcer quickly?

I have one that has been making me vomit all the next day after I drink. No matter what I drink or how much. It is miserable. I want to be able to enjoy some drinks every now and then but this stomach ulcer just won’t allow it. Any suggestions on how to get rid of it?

    First things first - With all due respects, there is no such thing as bland diet for ulcers. This age old notion of giving a low-fiber diet based on bland foods such as milk, toast, crackers, poached white fish etc. has long been since discredited as no therapeutic benefits from it were reported. Instead, now the emphasis is on letting people with ulcers eat a normal diet and judge for themselves if certain specific foods cause them trouble. These then could be isolated form the diet and rest continued.
