Does anyone know how to change your Spraypaint image for Counter Strike?
You know when you can spray like a skull or a smiley with color? Some people have custom images. Does anyone know how to do it?
Thanks,
Jeny

Well… here’s what i can do for you. Here’s a vid for some visual to help you out.

And here are some steps you can follow:
"Step 1. Most images on your computer will be a jpeg image. Whatever the image file is, you will need to resize it to a smaller pixel setting. You will need a paint shop program in order to do this. There are a lot of programs available on the market today. If you don’t have one, I recommend either Adobe Photo Shop, or Paint Shop Pro 9 . Both of these have a free trial download you can install from their website. That is fine in this case because once you have resized your image and saved it, you will not need the paint program again. Open up your paint program, click the file tab at the top left, select open, browse to the picture you want for your spray image on your computer and load that image in your paint program. If you want text on your picture such as your nickname, now is a good time to do that. Just play around with the paint program until you get familiar with all the options. Once the picture is set to your liking, you will need to resize the image to fit in your CS directory. At the top of your paint program will be an image tab. Click that, select resize image. Here you will see a window to resize your dimensions. I have found that resizing my image to 80 pixel width to 64 pixel height is optimal for CS. Once you have resized your image, click on file tab, select save as, name the image as CS Spray, browse to the folder you want the image saved to, and select ok. You are now done with the image part. See! That wasn’t so bad now was it?
Step 2. Now we need to convert that image you just made to a .wad file. The best program I have found for this is Wally. If you do not have this program, click on the link below to download it free.
Wally-download link
Now that you have Wally installed, run the program. At the top you will see a Wizard tab. Click on that, select HL Color Decal. At the top will be a window that says “Please select Half Life Folder”. This is actually where you want your image to be saved to as a spray. You can put it anywhere you want as long as you remember where it is. I usually just select My Documents folder. The next field to put in is source image. Click on “File On Hard drive” button. Click on the box to the right, browse to where you saved your resized CS Spray and put it here. Click okay. It will load your picture as a pldecal.wad file. Click on the X to close the window. It will ask you to save changes to pldecal.wad file. Select yes. You have now converted your image it a .wad file for CS. Close Wally.
Step 3. Now for the fun part. This is where we need to replace the decal files in your Counter-Strike directory. As long as you follow the directions, it will be really easy. Find the pldecal.wad file you saved on your computer. You will now have to copy this .wad file. The reason for this is there will be two files you will need to replace in your CS directory. Rename the 1st file as pldecal.wad. Rename the 2nd image as tempdecal. Now you will need to copy/paste both of these images into you CS Directory. Follow these steps to get to that directory.
1. Open up “C” drive or the drive you have your Steam folder located.
2. Open Program Files
3. Find and Open Steam Folder.
4. Open SteamApps folder
5. Open your steam loggin folder “email address”
6. Open counter-strike folder
7. Open cstrike folder.
Here is where you will paste your new .wad files. If you did it correctly a window will promp you that those files already exist, and do you want to replace them. Select yes. You have now embedded your new image in the CS directory. I told you it wasn’t that hard. So go frag on and spray to your hearts content.
One more thing! If you go to your options tab in CS, it will automatically overwrite your new image files. To prevent this from happening, make sure you make both image files you replaced in your cstrike directory to read only. Do this by right clicking the pldecal and tempdecal files, select properties, click on read only button. Now the images will be saved until you want to replace them with a different spray. If you have any problems log into the forums and give a shout out. I will be more then happy to walk you through them."

basically you get into counter strike and press the upload image button and see what comes up as its address at the top. then search that file while in your computer and paste a copied picture into that file. then go into counter strike upload the picture and then join a server twice in a row.
you now have a custom spray!
btw i found this out myself.
