What’s the difference between side bangs and side swept bangs?

i’m getting my hair cut soon and i don’t know what i should do. I have a round face and i’m asian with black, medium long hair. Would you suggest side bangs or side swept bangs for me and whats the difference. Feel free to give me other haircut suggestions! Layers? Cut it short? thanks!

    side-bangs are: a shorter piece of hair cut on the side of your head w/ a side part
    side-swept bangs are: regular bangs that you style with gel to go the the side.
    I personally find side-bangs easier to take-care of and to style.
