How can I get the area around my armpits tan when I use a tanning bed?

No matter how much I go tanning, the area around my armpits is always a lot lighter than everything else. Any ideas how to get it matched up with the rest of me? Thanks.

Hey I work at a salon and we recomend using a stand up bed but only keep your arms up half time or they will burn! or if this is not an option lay on your side for a few minutes with arm out or hang arms over your head works good to!! hope this helped

i had the same problem because i used the tanning beds that you lay down on. try the walk in tanning bed and lift your arms you when your tanning

First off, you really shouldnt be going tanning that often. It is really bad for you, so try a spray tan or cream. Some make your skin look really orangey, but i really recommend the Jergens Natural Glow. It works really well. GOOD LUCK

well, a simple way to do this is to lay with your arms over your head in the bed, but if that isn’t helping, you could use a gradual tanning moisturizer, everyday until it matches up with the rest of your skin, you could just use plain self tanner, but if you do that you will want to thin it out with lotion before you put it on, or it might get to dark and look dumb, if you do use self tanner, and it looks too dark, then just use a cloth soked in milk, that will lighten it up for you!!

    i hope that helps you

Raise your arms above your head while laying down on your back or front.
Worked for me… Don’t use a bronzer though, as this area is prone to looking orange and splotchy.

If you are using a lay down bed try lifting your arms up for a couple of minutes dont leave them up for the whole time like if you do 15 mins or something to that extent because arm pitts have realy sensitive skin and they can burn.
But your best bet is a stand up booth you can hold the bars and youll get a tan everywhere. Good luck

Do you raise your arms above your head when tanning…? Try that…or do the rotisserie chicken and ROLL! It sucks but it helps!
