I am willing to spend up to 0 on a fish( salt water) But I am not sure what kind i want. I like Sea horses, Lion fish, puffer fish, and crabs. But i am not limited to getting just these. I need some help finding what kind of animal and a rough estimate of how much it would cost. Thanks. PS i would like to get more than one so i am looking for fish that wont kill other fish.

Hello,
Define "best". Each species and even individual specimens will have their own personality and traits. In all reality $100 is not a whole lot for a single saltwater fish. For example I am putting away a little bit each month for a 250 gal tank with a Gem Tang in it. (retail on fish approx $3300, if it is available) It all depends on what you want. Lion fish are quite territorial and aggressive. You wont be able to have a community tank. Triggers are also a very neat fish but will go after inverts in a reef tank. ALSO, the cost of the fish is usually nothing as compared to the upkeep and care of the tank, fish and environment once it is put into your display tank. I would search http://www.animal-world.com for the fishes you are interested it. The website will over bios to include geographic distribution, maint, diet, and special requirements as far as lighting, flow, and water parameters. If this is your first tank I would recommend starting with easier to manage fish. There are several very attractive and fun to have fish for 30 dollars or less. In one of my 55 gal tanks I have a brown scopas tang, one T.P. clown and two firefish.
Good Luck!!
