I am writing a Literary Criticism on "Death of a Salesman" by Arthur Miller and I am writing about how the work reflects the period in which it is written (late 1940’s) and how the economic conditions determine the characters’ lives (Willy Loman’s suicide).
I am having difficulty developing a good introductory paragraph. So if you have any ideas please help! Thanks!

you should start with your thesis statement if i may suggest. Be general in your introductory paragraph but be specific about what you’re trying to prove in your research paper; that is your thesis statement. Then go in details about the book and supporting ur thesis statement with details. Use of quotation is highly recommended. In conclusion, restate your thesis statement and tie it back to the time now
why dont you start by introudicing the book….summarizing it……
