Mine has been growing for longer than a year now. The pain comes and goes and I thought it has already broken through my gums but it’s reeeeeeally hurting again.
How long do they take to grow?
Or how long did yours take?

Mine have been growing for 4 years now and they havent even broken through my gums, i only get pain every so often so it’s not all the time.
I hope it stops hurting soon and yours don’t take as long as mine!
its not that your teeth are growing, they are erupting through the gums, cause wisdom teeth are grown by 11-13 years old, but dont erupt until later usually around 17-21 or later. but teeth take about a year or two to actually grow..so your teeth are coming in normally, if they dont come through the gums in about 6 months or another year i would see a dentist and get some xrays because it could be sometime else other than your wisdom teeth.
It is very individual, and can grow for years and years, some people get their wisdom teeth in their 40s. But you dont have to worry, cos yours is making its move now, as proven by the pain.
I had my last three extracted at @ 28 years of age.
Mine have been growing/causing me pain for nearly 2 years now. My bottom right one is still yet to pierce the gum.
I get 3 of mine removed next Thursday! can’t wait to get rid of them, although I’m not looking forward to the pain after th surgery.
My two bottom ones are mesially impacted, that is probably why they are causing me alot of pain. I am only having mine removed because they cause pain, not because they are impacted and if left could cause decay. I dunno, British dentists suck.
