How often should you buy a new hair straightener?

How many years is a hair straightener good for if you use it about twice a week? The brand is Linea Pro. I’ve had it for about a year and it appears to work well but I wanted to know how long they are good for.

Until it breaks it stops working. Twice a week isnt exactly heavy usage so it should last for some time.

Wow, I didn’t even know there was a time limit. I’ve had my ConAir for 2 years and I use it every day!! still works great though…
IF IT WORKS I WOULDNT WORRY. WHAT WILL YOU DO WITH THE OLD ONE? THROW IT OUT SEEMS LIKE A WASTE TO ME…..I’M JUST SAYIN.
