How long does it take for a tongue piercing to close?

I had my tongue pierced three days ago, and from what I’ve read, it is placed horribly. I don’t want to risk anything, so I’ve taken it out. About how long will it take to close and properly heal considering how short of a time I actually had it in?

There where no risk with the placement i promise. My friend got hers done the day after me and its all kinds of crazy but that was 4 years ago and she is fine. If you made it past the needle your fine. But i would wait atleast a month to get it repierced just to be certian it is closed and your muscle has time to heal.
It should only take a few day 3-5 to completely close. depends on you body.
My mom and cousin both had theirs done as well my moms for a year and she took it out it closed in a day.
My cousin had hers for 2 years and it closed but the end of the night. That was 6 months ago and she can still stick a barbell in it if she wanted to.
Just make sure you are still cleaning out your mouth like you were with it pierced so you dont get infection while its healing.
Hope i helped! Thanks
Tattoos and piercings look absolutely scagging and are for things that live in trees
It should close fairly quickly since you only had it for 3 days. It will heal within 1 or 2 weeks.
It should be healed within 4-7 days. I had mine heal in that amount of time. But I decided to get it repeirced.
around a week. good luck (;
Pretty fast
The tongue is the fastest healing organ
