about 500-100years ago , Northern China,there are peple Mongolia/Jin…,they grazing. Chian peple planting. Often the outbreak of war. GW prepect people
but now , GW just monuments or remains.
i think is just likes Maginot Line in war2.
The Great Wall helped the Chinese believe that they were "protected" from the mongos…..hence that the Chinese never invent guns and bombs except fire works. They also satisfied with farming life until the Opium war started by the Great Britian against China- the middle kindom.
The GWOC was the reason behind the Berlin Wall, so that’s a huge influence on the Europeans.
kept the sheep within the barn and wolves away from lambs…
it was a standard fortification until it turned to a nice tourism money shaker…
