Me and 2 Friends are planning a road trip from Oregon to Cape Cod New Hampshire. Were only just starting to plan it so roughly how long would it take by driving around 2 - 3 hours a day to make that trip. Also is there anything else we should know or any good spots to call on the way? Also how is driving there different to England.
Thank you and I always give best answer to the most thorough answer.

Oregon to New Hampshire is about 3000 miles, (from middle of Oregon to middle of NH).
Driving at 60MPH, will take 50 hours to cross the country. So if you drive 3 hours a day, it will take you about 17 days to cross the country.
Pending your exact route sites may include: Salt Lake City, Yellowstone National park, Nebraska’s great corn palace, Devils monument and Mt. Rushmore in SD. Springfield IL, Chicago IL, Gettysburg PA, Philidelphia, New York… Too many posibilities to list all of them, do more research.
Its about 2,500 miles.
2-3 hours a day is like nothing.
I drive 85, but If you drive 60mph, thats
2,500/60
41 hours.
say you do 70
its like 36 ish
32 hours give or take driving 75-80.
SO.
3 hours a day, would take ten days, but thats one way, going atleast 80mph the WHOLE time.
I suggest driving for a little longer per day..
Ramp it up too 5 hours a day, thats 6 days.
which is 6 stops…I guess.
My main question is why the *** are you going too cape cod?
its pretty dang boring.
this time of year its cold. And I know that. I live in vermont. haha
well its around 2800 miles from Oregon to New Hampshire.
soo driving 2 or 3 hours a day at 80mph (general highway speed), then you would get 240 miles in a day, not including restroom visits, eating, etc.
Traveling 240 miles a day would get you there in around 2 weeks and 5 days.
soo yea, there you have it, hope this was helpful
I’m living in south africa, so I don’t know….sorry!
Cape Cod is in Massachusetts, not New Hamphshire.
From Oregon to Cape Cod is approximately 3000 miles.
In 2-3 hours, you can drive, at most, 100-200 miles, depending on what route you take, the time of day, weather, etc.
Therefore, it will take 15-30 days.
Mapquest estimates 48 hours of driving time, which would be 16-24 days.
2-3 hrs. a day? Just letting you know, but that’ll take forever. It took me about 3 days to get from Vermont to Colorado, and that was driving just about all day all three days. I would have to say at least 10 days.
The one obvious difference of driving between here and England is that we use the other side of the road. I’m sure that will take some getting used to.
