Im planning on joining the marines either out of HS or through college,(still undecided) anyway, what are some jobs that the marine corps has to offer?
Also, after you have left the marines what type of job could you obtain with you experience?

The link included is the link to the first MOS code by clicking on the code you will be able to see into that particular job. I spent my first two years as a 2111 Armorer, I learned how to disassemble every gun and rifle the Marines used all the way down to nothing but springs and pins in just a matter of minutes and in some cases seconds. I then transferred or LAT moved over to the 03xx field or infantry, I became an 0311 rifleman and went to the recon in-docs in Camp Pendleton. Once I made it through the in-docs, the BRC and all my training was done I had nothing to do. It sounds weird to say but yes once the training is over their really isn’t anything more for you to do but train some more. Even with all the training behind me I don’t think im going to find an add in the sunday paper for an expert demolitionist or someone who can walk right behind you without you knowing.
My options with the 2111 Armorer job, 0311 rifleman and 0321 reconnaissance jobs are to either become a Gun smith or join the police force. So even with the extensive training we get there arent alot of people that need are kind of training in the civilian world. Hope this helps you.
