What are people supposed to do in bars besides drink and eat?

I’ll be going to one soon to put my cougar hunting plan into action, but I don’t know what would be considered normal behavior in this setting. I don’t want to stand out. All I know is people drink and eat. What else do they do, and how am I supposed to approach women when I get there?

They eat, drink and be merry…or so the saying goes. Mostly people socialize in bars. However, the biggest mistake you can make is to over indulge in alcohol. If there is a dance floor, you can ask a female to dance, but don’t take rejection personally. And for your sake, don’t take one home with you. You can always get a phone number and call her another day.
