How long would it take to get from the earth to Jupiter?

I’m doing a science project, "selling tickets" to go to Jupiter. I need to know how long it would take to get from the earth to Jupiter if I was in a space shuttle with food and other supplies. I’m pretty sure Jupiter is about 628,730,000 miles away but I’m not sure how fast I would be going.

About 997 days for a Hohmann transfer. Other orbits are faster, but more expensive in fuel cost.
Unless we find a way to "freeze" ourselves then bring us back after a long period of time I don’t think we’ll be going. You would need a huge ship otherwise to carry enough food. But then again…..if you could go fast enough you could be there tomorrow.
628,730,000 miles away??As far as i know the units should be in kilometers…Jupiter doesnt go that far in miles….though converting it to kilometers you got the number right…just the units…..so 628,730,000 Km is approximately 390,674,709 miles. Lets say you have a space ship that would go 17,500 miles per hour. doing the math it would take approximately 22324.26 hours. which is close to 2 years and 6 months.
Check out Dr Franklin Chang Diaz ’s new space plasma engine…We may be using it for interplanetary travel…fastest engine in space right now.

Jupiter is 486 066 336 miles away right now and no human spaceflight is likely to ever go there.*
Go to Mars instead.
Mars is only 87 936 269.7miles away right now.

*unless someday we decide to execute murderers in a really expensive way.
it’ll only take about a week, if you go fast enough.
First, if you are in a space shuttle, then you will never get there as space shuttles only go into low earth orbit.
Second, it would depend on fast you are traveling.
