How do I play the ocarina in the Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time with the gamecube controller?

I downloaded the game on the wii shop channel and I’m at the part where impa teaches you how to play zelda’s lullaby on the ocarina. I try to play it with the c stick but a red x goes across the music bars. How do I play the song with a gamecube controller?

You can do it two different ways.
1) You can try to use the C-stick. Make sure you just flick it in the direction you want.
Or, what will probably be a much easier way.
2) Use Y for Left-C, Z for Down-C, and X for Right-C.

Well plug a gamecube contraller in xD or get the controller accesorie for wii its like a game cube controller but new and for wii OR what i do is download PJ64 nintendo 64 emulator and download all the 64 games you want and play them on your computer you get used to the buttons!
