How would you respond if your 11 year old son wants to wear colored underwear?

If your 11 year old son wants to wear colored briefs as opposed to the white underwear or colored boxer briefs how would you respond? If your son wanted to wear them daily as opposed to the white underwear what would you do with the white underwear if it was in good condition? How would you know what colors to buy? Has your son ever asked you to buy colored underwear briefs or boxer breifs to wear to school and on a daily basis?

Maybe he doesn’t like white ones because everyone else wears colored ones. I see nothing wrong with it. I’d buy him some colored ones. As for which ones to choose take him with you and let him pick them out. He’s 11 not 5, he can pick out his own underwear. Maybe he likes boxer briefs better cuz they hold everything better than underwear. Throw the white underwear away even if it’s in good condition, if it’s never been worn donate it to a homeless shelter or a discount store that sells donations.

Sure, why not? It is just underwear, he isn’t going to be showing anyone (hopefully). Just go to the store and buy some. Boys underwear normally comes in black, dark blue, dark green, red and white. They come in packs just like the white ones do. Pick up a pack of his size. No biggie.

I would be grateful that the biggest "issue" in my life is my son’s preference in underwear.

Well, I’d have him continue wearing the white ones for now, as they are still in good condition, but when he needs more, buy the coloured ones.
What’s so wrong about coloured underwear in the first place?

Do you want ur kid to be laughed at and be a nerd? Just let him pick out whatever underwear he wants. I thinks he is definitely old enough to know what he wants.
