How do you delete an open file on a mac computer?

I have downloaded pirates of the carribean for my son, and whenever i try to click it,it doesnt open.how do i delete the program with it being open 24/7?

Restart your computer and then delete it. I assume it is a video file so it won’t open when your computer restarts unless you try to open it again. Restarting fixes almost all software issues.
Well, get rid of your mac, as it’s a piece of garbage, and buy a PC (build it yourself don’t buy a retail piece of sh*t.
You can’t delete an open file on a computer. You can make sure the program doesn’t run at startup, restart the computer, then delete the file.
