I know how to make tuna but mine never looks like the one that’s on the salad bar when dining out. It’s always darker. How do I make mine look and taste like it?
Thanks for all the answers so far! I was anticipating some crazy responses with four letter words in them! Lol.

    Ingredients
    Can of tuna
    Left-over vegetables
Condiments, for example mayonnaise, cocktail sauce etc
    Dried spices or herbs

Step 1 Chop your left-over vegetables to a pretty small size (onions, bell pepper, celery and lettuce are all favorites) and put the chopped pieces into a bowl.

Step 2 Open your can of tuna, drain the oil or water out and add the tuna to the bowl.

Step 3 Add about four tablespoons of sauce (favorites include mayonnaise, salsa, mustard and cocktail sauce). Try combining two for a new flavor. If you have them, cut up two hard-boiled eggs and add them to your bowl.

Step 4 Add some salt and season to taste with favorite herbs (try chili powder or dill).

Step 5 Mix everything together and chill for a few hours before serving.

There are different grades of tuna in cans, usually "chunk light" and "chunk white". They probably use the white kind (it’s more expensive, though).
There’s not a lot of difference in taste, so I’d keep using the cheaper stuff.

    Drain the tuna fish.

Add a dallop of mayo or salad dressing.

Add any of the following that stirs your fancy or taste buds - chopped onion, peas, chives, worchester sauce, pickle relish, or anything else you like.

mix well - serve on toast.

What do you mean, ‘make’ tuna??

You mean take it out of a can?? Or cook a steak??

If you’re talking canned, it’s probably just a matter of brand. Try different kinds until you find one you like.

If you’re talking cooking a tuna steak, you should cook it just a minute or two on each side, until it’s JUST done and not cooked any more than it needs.

If you want an easy and delicious tuna salad recipe…
Mix boiled baby potatoes, steamed green beans, salad leaves, black olives, hard boiled egg and tuna together with enough olive oil to lubricate it. Season with black pepper. So simple and so delicious!
