How much should I expect to pay for daycare for my 3 yr old son. Most likely 3 ten hour days?

I’ve been a stay at home mom and he has never stayed with anyone other than family before. But since my recent divorce I have no choice but to put him in daycare. How much is this likely going to cost me?

This of course depends on where you are located in the country, however my experience and talking with other moms is that you will be looking at $80 to $100 per day. But the good news is that they become independent, learn social skills and if you find a good daycare they will be stimulated mentally and will have a healthy head start for pre-school. That is priceless!
25$ a day
Like ALOT. I know this lady that charges $200 for 2 days.
I pay my sitter 3.00 an hour.
well it actually depends on the day care ..u could probably pay 50-100 a week or so
It depends on where you live. From 75.00 - 150+ a week.
I pay 145/week for full time (which is considered more than 30 hours)- I have to pay this whether my son is at school or not. It really depends on where you live and what type of daycare you want. I know in-home is less expensive but they do not teach as much as the bigger facilities. Here in Southern Arizona it ranges from $100-$150/week which is not easy to pay every month! Good Luck!
Seems to vary a bit, but average is about 3.50-5 dollars an hr
Sorry. I am not sure but if you are short on money you can get a family member to watch over your baby.
Depends on what daycare you take him to…… If you go thru the welfare and the welfare finds someone then Its like 100 bucks every 2 weeks… I say about 20.00 dollars….. 50 being the highest… Since its only going to be 3 days then yeah 20 dollars…. It really depends on who watches him… Different place’s has different price ranges…..
probably at least 150 a week
I think that is crazy. I seriously HATE daycare. It just is the child sitting STARING at the ceiling, CRYING.
They is a range between infant, toddler and school age child. Depending up what they provide (meals, snacks, etc.) you are looking at $125 - $200.
My advice, do not go cheap- you get what you pay for. Also, look up a potential provider on the internet and see what you find. Inquire some of her past families.
Ask some of your family and friends if they no some body you has a home day care. Personal referrals are easier to get.
