What is the ontological argument and what are the problems with it?

It has to do with a posteriori and a post something… Like one means a thought experiment before experience and one means thought experiment after experience. What does that have to do with proving God’s existence? Like with Alpha and Beta and stuff… Thanks

i cant remember the exact argument. usually these kind of arguments about proving the existence of God are circular arguments. they usually assume beforehand what they are supposed to prove…they start with a general set of assumptions and at the end of the argument you realise that they have made false assumptions in the first few steps of the argument. i think the fallacy is called petitio principii
