I have been working for two years at my university through my Women’s Center organization to educate students about sexual assault. I am very passionate about helping survivors of sexual assault and after my "dealing with sexual assault" training today I realized I want to turn my passion into my profession. I want to work as an advocate for survivors of sexual assault after I graduate this year and I have no idea how to go about that. Can anyone tell me?

You are a very special person to want to work advocating for victims (survivors
of sexual assault. Perhaps the county board of social services has a helpline to get more information on volunteering (not sure about paid positions).
Here are a couple of websites that may offer more info:

http://www.nsvrc.org
For possible volunteer opportunties: http://www.volunteermatch.org
You can start by contacting women’s shelter, and other social services agencies. You can also start your own non for profit to do this as well.
contact your local rape response center. It should be in the phone book. If not call local law enforcement non emergency # and ask. The instructor for your training may also have some good ideas to share with you.
