What is the difference between controlling pollution and controlling an invasive species? Pollution can be controlled by eliminating the source (such as coal-fired electric power plants) while invasive species require repeated massive efforts to eradicate (or to limit their spread).
What common domestic animal could be considered to be invasive? The common cat could be considered to be invasive. What damage does it cause to the environment? Native bird species are being decimated due to the introduction of house cats.
